Phase One Treatment for Your Loved One
Early Orthodontic Treatment in the Grass Valley, CA Area
Early orthodontic treatment, also known as phase one treatment, is done for children who have not yet gotten all of their adult teeth, typically occurring between the ages of six and ten. When you bring your child to Luv My Smile, we will do a full orthodontic workup. After getting a digital impression of their smile and getting x-rays, Dr. Cater and Dr. Galante will be able to determine what kind of treatment, if any, your loved one needs. Typically, our doctors can determine if your child will have any major orthodontic issues later as they grow into their adult teeth, such as an open bite, crowding, or a narrow palate.
There are a variety of reasons your child might need early orthodontic intervention. Perhaps thumb sucking has warped their palate, or they might suffer from breathing problems. Either way, our team at Luv My Smile will determine the best route for your child, be it braces, Invisalign, or other orthodontic appliances. We hope to see you and your loved one at their complimentary consultation soon!
